Javier is a member of BBVA Spain Management Committee and heads BBVA retail business development efforts in Europe.
In the past, he led Global Retail Client Solutions for Open Market and has had various responsibilities en Systems Architecture & Technology Innovation. He started his career in McKinsey & Company as a Project Manager based in Madrid, London and Sydney offices.
He holds an International Degree in Management by University of Navarre in Spain and a Master in Business Administration by Harvard Business School.
He is a proud husband and father of 4 children.
