Silvio Rugolo

Silvio Rugolo is a seasoned software sales executive with over 25 years of experience in leading and enabling sales and presales teams across the globe. He focuses on transformation through the connection of Strategy, People and Operational Excellence. He is a Value based selling recognized expert, with deep knowledge of MEDDPICC operationalization in the Sales Process.

In his current role he is the VP of Transformation at FICO.

He’s a public speaker at external and internal events, mentor and coach for sales managers and consultants on Leadership, Sales Process, MEDDPICC, Value Based Selling, Communication and process optimization and author of articles on Service Management and Digital Transformation.

Silvio has started his career as a freelance developer and then gained his enterprise IT experience working on Industrial Automation projects at Sesam (Digital/Comau) and then Networks, Internet Infrastructure, Applications and E-commerce at Digital/Compaq, covering multiple roles, from software development to Internet Architect. At Bmc, he has covered Technical, Enablement and Sales Leadership roles at global level and in his most recent role, he held a role as EMEA SVP Sales & GM at Trellix, a leading Cybersecurity company.

He earned his Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Catania, which specializes in automatic controls and fuzzy logic with a thesis on GIS and neural networks.
